From the Preschool Classroom to the Drawing Board.
After years of floating from the diaper to mealtime table in her preschool classroom, Lucy started to notice the way children maneuvered in their clothing. She realized she was surrounded by adult clothing that had been shrunk to fit the size of the average toddler, with little regard for the perspective or experience of the child. Necklines weighed down by pacifier clips, bulky sleeves that never stayed rolled and pants that turned into your worst enemy when trying to learn how to use the toilet.
So she started a list. a list of ways to take her passion and knowledge of the child development space and morph it into clothing that worked as a tool. Envisioning a line of children's clothing designed for moving, playing and most importantly helping them grow, as they grow.
